1) Braids
been pretty obsessed with braids lately...dunno why but they just appeal to me...i mean, dun they just look sweet?
searched for a couple of videos in youtube...turn out that there's so many kinds of braids.....french braid, Dutch braid, waterfall braid, reverse braid, etc etc.....there's even an encyclopedia for them...WTF....
tried a few types...failed few times but i finally succeeded....it isn't as easy as it seems, ok?

Its been 2 months since my classes started...To be frank, i was quite disappointed to find out third years are still incompetence to treat patients....haiz....and i was so looking forward to it....

posted in orthodontics, community dentistry and prosthodontics department....had 2 weeks in each department...so, if you dislike that department, its only for 2 weeks....

did special tray again in prostho....these are used to take impression for patients....

Coincidentally, it was oral cancer awareness week when we posted in community dentistry....As we still couldn't do any check up for patient, it was our job to station at counters and distribute flyers to passerby....but most of the time we just slack off....
hadn't get out labcoat that time and most of the passerby run away before we even open our mouth...i guess they though we were some direct sales person or something....

Bali Day 2

Its time to blog about my Bali Day 2....

Don't be alarmed by the amount of photos i uploaded in this post...took too many photos that i don't know which to upload...end up i just uploaded most of them...WTF...

In every post, there must be a vain pic of me.....haha....

When you woke up too early, the only thing to do is to camwhore....

my skin still isn't as perfect as before...but at least it is healing quite rapidly....
so~~~~no makeup or whatsoever shit on my face for the moment....

Because we went late for breakfast....all thats left for us is BREAD......kesian la....

As we still had a little time to spare before our driver arrive, we decide to take a stroll at the beach....

i really have no idea what this is...just find this kinda amusing and uploaded it....

And finally we arrived at the beach....luckily it was morning....if we had walk in the afternoon, we would be roasted before we even reach there...

Not long, our driver arrived and thus our journey began~~~~

First destination: BEACH 2
coz i dun remember the names of places i visited, and thus i decided to label them according to number...btw.....the name of the beach this morning is KUTA BEACH....haha....

beach 2 is somewhere in the hills where you can appreciate the beach near the clift...

sun too bright and i have to squint my eyes...

Second destination: Beach 3
beach 3 is more of a religious place and tourist have to follow strict dress code...

the notice isn't exaggerating....the place is swarming with monkeys....
the monkeys often prey on spectacles and shiny stuff ( i had to hide my camera...sad case la, coz i din take much photos in this place)
Dear had to remove his spectacles and walked like a half-blinded man....haha

Third destination: Blue Point
nothing special about this place...if you ever visit Bali, don't bother visiting here....there's really nothing special....

worse part is, you have to dine in their restaurant before they allow you to view the scenery.....
wanted to leave, but then again, its not always you come to Bali, so curiosity took over....
Can't say i regretted it, but there certainly won't be a next time.....

swimming pool looks nice from far...but it actually is super dirty....management never clean 1.....

And they have this shitty menu to choose from....

View turns out to be just a church....a church made of glass and rumors has it that many couples purposely book this place for their wedding ceremony....

Fourth destination : Beach 4

Been missing from my blog for some time.....can't say that i am busy but just that i am not willing to spend just 10 mins to update my blog...*lazy blogger*...2 months passed by and i feel its really time to update my blog.....*procrastinating habit*

I dun have any topic to blog with....my life has been really dull recently....Penang's life is much better than India's but so far there's ntg interesting happened....still coping with the weather, food and bed( i miss my bed in kl)....

And so, i decided to blog about my Bali trip....

My flight ticket to Bali....

the view outside....took a lot of pics like this coz i couldn't sleep....probably i was feeling too excited....

Our 1st meal in Bali....It wasn't too bad if you can handle spicy food....it wasn't to my liking coz i hate spicy food...

We reached Bali around 10pm...I half expected the shops to be closed but turns out that the street where our hotel is located is filled with pubs and bar...well, since we are already here, I figured that we couldn't miss experiencing the night life in Kuta....

Passed by this shop and i was like " wow, this gelato look so CLASS la"....

My 1st sip of alcohol in 21 years...Can't say i like it but honestly, it wasn't too bad...

Another day in the hostel....Hiding myself in the room, turning the air cone to protect myself from the blazing heat outside.....Another ordinary day....Oh wait....there is something special about today...Today is the last day i will be in India....In less than 24 hours, i shall embark on a trip back to Malaysia, saying forever goodbye to this place( if i manage to pass in finals)....

I just can't wait....I've been pacing up and down the room thinking of what else i have yet to pack...I've double check and triple check my flight ticket and passport....It just seems too good to be true....2 years pass in a blink of an eye...too many stuffs happened....but thanks to that, it made me stronger, made me see the world in another perspective and shaped me to who i am now....

Sadly, this is probably my last trip in India......well, maybe not that sad after all la....coz it implies tat i'll be going back to malaysia~~~~haha.....

getting sick of travelling in india....dun get me wrong....visiting new places was an eye opener for me...what i hate was the transportation.....transportation in india is super expansive and not comfortable for long trips......their seat was stiff, non adjustable and not hygienic....apart from seat, most coach does not provide air-conditioner....air-conditioned coach cost more expansive.....where got such thing one....*&^%$#@!*&.....curse India....

so if you travel without a/c...get ready for some dust eating moment....and a bad hair day....i dun understand how those dust manage to get my hair all sticky and tangled together.....

Okay, enough of the complaining.......time for photos.....
Went to Hogenakkai (famous for its waterfall) last Sunday.......about 2-3 hours away from Salem........

our coach for the day....which was non air-conditioned....haiz.....

braided my hair to prevent it from getting messy...but the stupid rubber band broke the moment i reach there...so much for waking up early to tie it....

the sun was kinda bright and i had to squint my eyes.....my eyes now look like Brooke's from pokemon.......

well, the boat wasn't the one that i had in mind....I imagined a banana shaped boat, but instead i get a coconut shaped one....India never fail to surprise me....

Dozens of people swarming around us trying to sell us their product....mostly fried fish,....I might have bought it if i hadn't seen the way they cook it....wtf....

Darren tried to lift the boat...it wasn't as easy as it seems.....those people carry like its made of paper.....

managed to take a photo of monkey...the whole place is full of monkeys....

spectecular view,isn't it? The breeze sent in vapours from the waterfall, which was pretty soothing and relaxing in a warm day.....

Mistaken for a Korean, Chinese......Din't realise i look like Korean....which i noe i don't.....For god sake, I am a Malaysian la~~~~~

Bunch of naked guys bathing......i find it disgusting, especially the moment when they started whistling at girls who passess by...

Fish market...apparently tis place is famous for its fishes too....

we were tempted to buy some fish, but none of us know how to choose fish.... -.-

Villagers here still do their daily activity by the river side....at some point i even doubt tat they have water supply.....

all their basic daily activity---cooking, washing clothes, bathing etc etc was done by the river...

can you even imagine how polluted it is???

I think i can oni find in the musuem in malaysia....

Cows, being a holy animal, are free to wander around the village....one particular cow even attack my fren when she took a photo of it....no worries....she left with a blue-black as a souvenir ....

Can't imagine how can he sleep in a place like this.....

Such a sweet photo....i wanna take a photo like tis with dear too.....

the whole was pretty satisfying....except the part that we were treated like some kind of exotic animals or alien or rare species or whatever la.....I am used to the starring, people in Salem town had always been starring us like they never seen chinese before....

But the super dulan part was when they randomly take photo of us....wherever we stand, there'll always be a bunch of camera surrounding us.....Like we're animals escaped from a circus....
There was this particular group of Indians who offered us 10rps ( about 70 sen) for a photo taken with them....WTF...what do you think we are????We do not scoop so low as to sell our photos for a mere 10 rps....And even if its at a higher price we will not do it....We still have out dignity and pride.....
Another guy walked in opposite direction of me, pretending to text....And when he came near, he held his phone high and i distinctly heard a " cickcak"....wtf.....feel so like snatching his phone and throw it in the water....

There is seriously sth wrong with the India's education system la....Pendidikan moral must be missing in their syallabus...

I'm sorry tat i neglected my blog for so long..........been real busy with studies and practical work...

The last 2 months was a real hectic.....coping with studies and at the same time struggling with practical work.....the lecturers have been more demanding than ever....they've been given lots of stress too, having to make sure tat we perform well in our finals....

Exam went like a breeze.....time pass faster when you are focusing on something......i just hope tat my exam results are satisfactory......*praying hard*

A brief recollection of events happened tis few months........

Celebrated my last birthday in India....it wasn't much of a celebration, considering tat everyone is busy preparing for models.........But i'm still glad tat they are willing to spend their previous time for a birthday dinner....

Glad tat there was no prank, or food fight, or whatsoever....coz i really hate those stuff....hate getting cream on my face, hate getting dirty all over, hate running all over the hostel, hate wasting of food, etc etc

tis is probably by far the largest prank done by Mother Nature, reminding us who is in power, keeping us in mind of how insignificant humans are in the vast universe...Mother Nature grant us unlimited resources, lakes, rivers, land, mountain, sea, but at the same time, she can take everything back....

Stay strong, people of Japan....hard times will pass and good times awaits you in the future...

外面的天气好热，可是我的心像冬天，不断的下雪。。。

此刻的心情好低落。。。一连串好多事情发生。。。心里很烦躁，无法平静下来。。。

不能说，也说不出。。。毕竟是自己的问题，怎样都是要自己解决。。。

心里有很多感想。。。一时之间不知怎么说出来。。。收藏在心里，却又很辛苦。。。

接下来要在印度呆5个月。。。过后的日子应该会开始忙吧。。。忙也好，尽量不要让自己去想，让时间快点过。。。很快的我就可以回家了。。。

有时候，自己会在想，如果当初听父母的话，每来这里读书的话，我的生活会是怎样的？？

或许还是那个不知天高地厚的小女孩。。。

后悔，是肯定有的。。。毕竟会不习惯。。没有父母的照顾，什么都得靠自己。。。

我后悔。。。。

后悔没有留在家陪父母，他们年龄也不小了，总觉的自己没有尽到女儿的责任。。。

后悔没有尽到姐姐的责任。。。

后悔没有在他们最需要支持的时候，在他们身边陪他们。。

后悔自己为什么当初那么固执。。。

可是同时。。。我很感激。。。感激我有这个机会看到世界的另一面。。。

人家常常说要懂得珍惜，世上还有人比你更可怜。。。

当时的我只懂得听，却没真正体验过，了解过。。。

当我看到有人睡在街上，没有屋子，挨饿，没有鞋子，我知道自己真的很幸福。。。

我不算有钱，可是有地方睡，三餐稳定，有家人，就已经足够了，不需要再要求什么。。。

现在对我来说最重要是家人平平安安就好。。。。

人生就是这样，没人知明天会发生什么时，所以要懂得珍惜身边的人。。。

Looking back those old photos really brings back all my memories....most of them are blur but some still remain vividly clear in my mind....

i remember my mum enjoyed dolling me up even on normal days, dressing me up like a princess, tie my hair and decorate them with little decorations, sometimes even put a little makeup on my chubby face....

i remember i used to be the tallest in the family and now all of them are taller than me.....my bro even make fun of my height nowadays......

i remember i have long hair up to my waist when i was young....coz i attended ballet lessons up to primary 3....i quit leaving me with short hair, coz the teacher couldn't stop asking me to diet,she complain tat i was fat....wtf.....i was only skin and bones tat time....

Dun feel shocked ppl~~~i noe my birthday is still ages away.....

being 21 feels big...like stepping into adulthood all of a sudden....and it never fails to make me feel old.....arhhhh...i can see wrinkle in my face adi.....LOL....

Dun think i am mad....i have valid reasons for organizing tis party tat early.....

Firstly, according to old saying, its better to celebrate birthday early than late....

Secondly, i am gonna be stuck in india on my big day so no choice but to celebrate early la, while i am still in malaysia.....

i am sorry i did not invite any1....its just a small celebration with relatives....i dun feel necessary to make it big since it is not on my actual date......

life's been really busy......had to rush practicals for 2nd internal exam before we head bac to malaysia......shall blog more of my practicals when i have time.....and when i finish them......my practicals had reach a tedious stage....or should i say interesting stage????hehe....

nearly drop dead everytime i reach hostel.......

and more of it.......the weather of salem is really killing me......its like an oven outside.....no umbrella or tree could shade me from tis horrible weather....someone spare me pls.......thank god my hostel is just 10 mins from our classes.....anything further than tat can kill......

there is one thing to be anticipated though......i am heading back to malaysia tis sat.....hooray......cant wait to meet everyone.....india is really absorbing my energy away and i need to recharge it......honestly i am really hating it every second......~~fucking~~ hate it.....

lecturers contribute a lot to the way i feel bout india.....Dont get me wrong....i am not being bias or anything but i really ~~fucking~~ hate those lecturers here......not all, but most of them......they are ntg similar to those lecturer in malaysia.......at least in malaysia we have mutual relationship btw them......we share jokes, we enjoy lesson, we ask when we dun understand and they teach wholeheartedly.......its totally different here~~~~they expect total respect from student, like they are some kind of god coz they claim they pass knowledge to us.....wtf.....the 1st word we get in class on our arrival is tat : " you malaysian never respect lecturers.....you never greet and bow to lecturer...." wth......am i still a primary skul kid????we pay the skul fees here, and your salary came from those superly expensive skul fees.....doesnt it make us the boss and hence more respect????

so those of you who are planning to study in india......think again.....

went banglore last sunday..............AGAIN........been to banglore so many times tat i feel sick by merely listening to its name......hence, i only go thr when i need to or forced to.....

this time.....its for the sake of buying my dental instrument......

the bus driver took a different route....and we woke up wondering whether we missed banglore.....searching for a familiar landmark outside and not long we saw Forum mall!!!!( a mall in banglore).....i let a sign of relieve.....phew.....

kelly and i spotted the dental store as the driver drove pass......asked the driver to drop us....

went to Pondycherry to spent the weekends....a small, peaceful, serene city located 5 hours away from Salem...populated by Indians and French (most of them choose here as a place of retirement)...

embrace yourself for a super long post..

reached around 7am...

head straight to the beach because most of the shops arent open...

unlike other beach, Pondy's beach is a rocky beach...

Finally, after a long walk~~~we reached!!!! was famished by tat time.........

Been trying to type sth in chinese for a some time but my chinese sucks la....too embarrassing to show it here...i mean its still CNY and it seems appropriate to type sth in chinese....i been staring at my laptop for half and hr and still ntg comes out~~~~ 6 yrs primary skul and 5 yrs sec skul of chinese education wash down the drain just like tat....FML...my chinese have never been acceptable in the 1st place....i was at the extent of being able to speak and listen but writing and reading is kinda challenging to me...I am a disgrace to Chinese...

I wonder is it the abundance of food or the deprive of slp is causing those nightmares? They just cant stop haunting me in my sleep...its kinda disturbing and annoying at times when you find yourself waking in the middle of the night drench in sweat and unable to get into sleep again....FML...Why cant they just leave me alone???? I already dream more than a normal ppl does....its already disturbing enuf tat i cant get proper slp... I need a solution...and it struck me tat it could be my subconscious mind trying to express itself...In mean,there are facts proven tat dreams could be indicating something in the subconscious state of mind....

So i google up...And.........................TADAAAA!!!!!

The stupid unstable internet connection is really driving me crazy….it took me 4 days to upload n resize all the photos…and I almost giv up on posting…haha…dun worry…I hav strong determination….

In lieu to Ponggal festival( which is similar to CNY to chinese), we hav 4 days holidays...after some long discussion, we decided to visit Chennai...

I am sure tat most of you have heard Chennai before…Its is the largest city in Tamil Nadu..its not suprising tat it reaches the rank of metropolitant as it houses so many resident...

its a 2 days 1 night trip...we took sleeper bus and headed towards chennai...the journey takes about 8 hours...even its a sleeper bus, its still difficult to slp due to the rocking movement of bus..

headed straight to the beach after we arrived at chennai....the beach was ordinary....we expected a polluted, dirty beach but surprised to realise it wasnt tat polluted after all...but the water wasnt really crystal clear and the sand grain is rough...the feeling is vry unpleasant the sand enters into slippers

we were busy taking photos and didnt notice a wave of tide heading towards us...we took a run for it but it was in vain...it struck us and soaked our feets....luckily just the feet or else i dunno how to continue survive the whole day....

we had nowhere to go since its still early and the malls is still close....so we visited a few churches 1st....

the next day is just shopping shopping and shopping again...visited chennai largest mall---EXPRESS AVENUEwe actually wanted to catch a movie...but only tamil movie is on air...stupid...

My breakfast....yea...SUBWAY again...had subway 2 days in a row....somehow Malaysia's subway taste better....

Hey i am bac...and bringing a little update and insight of my life...
class started 1 week ago...and i reluctantly move my ass bac to India...Lots of stuff to catch up but i am still in holiday mood...and i am stuck here during CNY...which makes me feel worse...ok...enuf of my complaining..more update on my classes...second year classes are a little more demandin and stressful..but it gets kinda fun once you get the hang of it...

we are learning cavity preparation( drilling teeth??LOL)anyway it isn't as simple as it seem..to prepare a cavity with exact depth and outline form requires lots of concentration...coz if its too deep it will reach the pupl---causes pain sensationand if its too shallow--den wat for you drill the tooth???not only we have to drill it...we hav to 'fill' the cavity too...on top of tat,those ~~stupid~~ lecturers keep pressuring around, lookin for any excuse to send shouts around the lab...as if our task isn't easy enuf...

ODS classes are in Phantom labDun ask me wat ODS stands for..coz i am not really sure myself..hehetat's Charleen...leaning on Mr.Phantom

the mask stinks too...i dunno y...and wearing for long hrs develops breathing difficulty...

it makes you feel hot too--coz the air keep circulating within the mask....

the headcap gets disgusting once you sweat...and hot too..

honestly, i feel i look more like a lab technician than dentist...FML...

the big 21

feels like goin old so fast..

it seems like only ytd tat i ended my secondary skul...

i cant deny tat time passes so fast...

being 21 might be the ripest moment to a gal..

but its the gloomiest moment of my life ~~(cause i am still stuck in tis stupid india)~~

many things happened in 2010....

i begin pursuing dentistry in India...dad and mum was so anxious...we hav been through tis discussion over and over again...i insisted on my decision ~~(even though i kinda regret now)~~ and no matter how reluctant they are....i noe deep down tat they support me to the max~~~i miss them a lot too...being away from home for the 1st time was vry hard for me...i just could not stop crying....but i noe tis is the path tat i choose and for tat i must persist till the end...just hope tat my decision was a right one....

i travelled to a lot of places in India...mayb even more than the places tat i visited in Malaysia....

Banglore, Ooty, Kerala, Yercaud, Wonder La( a theme park in Banglore....honestly i prefer Wonder La than USS...at least there are more thrilling rides to play with)...the list may seem short here but i hav been to Banglore 3-4 times( i am so sick of Banglore now)...so yeah....travelling is always the best way to spend free time...it makes us feel tat time past faster coz at least there is sth to look forward to...holidays don't come by easy in India,so travelling during short holidays is a MUST!!! My next trip shall be to Pondicherry...haha..shall post about it if i gt a chance to go....

i hav seen a different part of the world....even though i hav always read or heard tat India is a country of poverty..i never though i actually gt a chance to visit it...its actually like Slumdog Millionaire....beggars(including man,women and kids) stream the road,asking for money...there are some tat sleep under the bridge or by the road side...some tat earn so less tat i dunno how they gonna survive...Despite tis, there is also the RICHER part of India...where the rich gets richer by exploiting the poor...the poor gets poorer...tis is wat happening in an overpopulated country...Compared to tat..Malaysia is a way better country...

dear and i are still goin on smoothly...its already been 1 yr plus...and the count still goes on...i miss him a lot here...and i noe tat he misses me equally as well...

i miss my frens more than ever....And even we had our separate life or hav not met for long time,its sometimes amazing to noe tat we still share the same thought and our bond is still as strong as ever....Words just could not fully describe how i feel about you guys....

its my 1st time not spending CNY in Malaysia...Its not the angpao tat matters but being a chinese,i wasn't able to celebrate the biggest festival in the chinese calender...FML...tis year is gonna be the second time...just wish i quickly finish my second year and head bac to Penang...i am glad tat my parents( being chinese-illiterate) sent me for chinese education...and even my chinese basics are not strong...but i am still proud to noe my mother tongue( being able to read and write)...at least i noe my ancestor's root...haha

1. Slim down...Eat less..coz i really look ~~fat~~ round now...i need to get bac to my original figure....

when i get bac to Penang,i must resume my dancing lesson or yoga...no matter how or wat

other ppl say, i must SLIM SLIM down...

2.Stop procrastinating...more of action and less talk...i noe i'm a noisy and talkative person....i

will try to change my bad habbits..

3.DONT SQUANDER....i think tis takes the most determination...i tend to spend ~~a lot~~ more than

other normal ppl will spend (mostly on unnecessary stuff)...arrgh..i really hate my big-spender-habbit...

4.EAT LESS CHOCOLATE.....which is another determination-consuming-resolution....chocolate is my life..how can i live without it....but with pimples popping like mushroom on my skin and constantly falling sick,i really cant afford to continue eating so much...i need to get my smooth complexion back badly...

5.CONTROL MY EMOTIONS...my emotions are always off-control when i am in india...i tend to EMO a lot,feel depressed, low self-esteem and confidence...my anger flares up rapidly and i gets impatient...so ya,i must CONTROL CONTROL...

6.CRY LESS.....i admit my tears falls like raindrops...i cry whenever i gets emotional or even when watching a touching movie...

7.STUDY HARDER?

8.STOP COMPLAINING....actually i only complain bout INDIA...but still its bad to complain when i am blessed wif everything...i shud feel contended tat i hav a supporting family and bf, frens that i can always lean on and a home that is always waiting for me...
