Japan Day 4--Kyoto
Day 4 in Japan and we ventured in Kyoto...We travelled from Osaka to Kyoto using Shinkansen~~~
Schedule of the day:
kyoto--arashiyama--tenryuj i--tea ceremony--kinkakuji--nishi ki market--nijo castle--pontocho alley
Next we went to the tea ceremony place....Boyfie made an appointment prio to coming to Japan because I insisted on attending a tea ceremony~~~
Spotted this takoyaki shop on our way back and it was superb!!!
For lunch, we went to Nishiki market to satisfy our cravings....
Next was nijo castle~~~ during the sakura blooming period, the castle opens to public at night for a limited period of time.....you can really enjoy the sakura view at night~~~
Last destination was Pontocho alley for dinner~~~~
found another ramen shop in one of the alleys~~~

From the station we walked our way to Arashiyama....passed through a park and it was blooming with sakura~~~Arashiyama was not far away....the walk just takes about 15 mins~~~ |
Finally arrived ~~~there was so many ppl that it was impossible to take pics without them~~ |
