A perfect getaway

went to Pondycherry to spent the weekends....a small, peaceful, serene city located 5 hours away from Salem...populated by Indians and French (most of them choose here as a place of retirement)...

embrace yourself for a super long post..

reached around 7am...

head straight to the beach because most of the shops arent open...

unlike other beach, Pondy's beach is a rocky beach...

Darren: after u done ur shopping, u must run around on the streets

all of us: *laugh*

1st time i see no HONK in India

had breakfast at Bakers street----a french Delicacies concept store...

starving la...

so tempting...~~*saliva drooling*~~

there are lots of shops like this selling liquor all around Pondycherryand they are freaking cheap!!!all made in India..

visited a chruch afterwards....due to a request from my Christian friends...and coz we have nothing better to do.....all the other shops are still closed!!!!

headed to the Bazaar after tis...separated into 2 groups---rent bicycle gang and non-rent bicycle gangme-----of coz non-rent bicycle gang la....i was terrified at the sight of traffic here....there's no way i am gonna cycle here....I rather walk!!!and hence, our journey began...accompanied by Darren and Kelly....after all the sweating and panting, we decided to have our lunch in ANANDHA INN as it is recommended by seniors...but but but...we are LOST~~~~Then, Darren's GPS come to the rescue~~~still had to walk a long way though....
